Powering into new horizons, we enter this new era of change where one name, one identity marks the beginning of our journey towards greater heights. On 11th December 2006, the Company officially changed its name from TRONOH CONSOLIDATED MALAYSIA BERHAD to ZELAN BERHAD.

In line with the Company's overseas business ventures, a decision was taken to have a single name and a single identity, since Tronoh Consolidated Malaysia Berhad was formerly synonymous with the tin mining industry of the country. In view that the majority of the Company's business is now focused on the engineering and construction sector in particular in the arena of design and construction of power plants, it is a natural and progressive choice to adopt the new name "Zelan" which is established within the power and utilities sector both domestically and internationally.

The Board of Directors and the management of Zelan Berhad and Group of Companies are proud of this achievement and wish to thank all business associates, suppliers and employees for their invaluable support through the years and beyond.
