Project Background The project comprise a greenfield crude-oil fired combined power and seawater desalination plant with a net power capacity of 850MW and a desalination capacity of 212,000m3/d and it is located adjacent to the existing Shuqaiq Phase 1 power and desalination plant 105m south of Abha and 140km north of Jizan, on the western coast of Saudi Arabia.
